Beirut is one of the earliest cevilization known for man kind when Beirut was a world known city shining with glory Dubai was a deserted desert and yet they are trying to make it new cevilized country but it is so artificial laking out of any identity

We are all arabs. We should be respectful to each others countries. Each country has its own chracteristics. I am from Beirut and I hope that we all work together to show the west that we are evenly civilized and deserve to be respected. We should promot our history and creativity to the world. I respect Dubai for trying to become a civilazed country and the same about Morrako. I am proud of all arab countries and I want everyone to be proud of the heart of the middle east “Beirut” that suffered the most and still beautiful.

they were saying that works should start jun 2009 but till now Jan 2010 there is nothing. Does anyone knows if it was canceled or just delayed…Please provide a refernece…

This Hotel have to be in Beirut and only in Beirut. Lebanon it’s the best country in the ME and the world. And I will tell you why it’s not have to be in Dubai. Cause dubai is only a desert that in few years 3prs/km2 lived ther. And they always come to us (the Lebanese) like now they do. But when this … (bala man sabsib) start the human go to this Desert to brig money, and this is the result. But now, Lebanon recupeered his beauty in all his region, from the north to the south to the west and to the east. So we are waiting you to visit our incredible country, and after that, you can tell wath you think. And don’t forget to take a map or a tourist Guide).
2. Mr. Ibn Beirut:
I will don’t write a lot, like I write to Shaddouz, but we(the lebanese) are not arab. We’re a independant country. It’s not that we arent totally arab, yes we are, but not compleetly. We have our own tradition. Only :P
