It’s a CHINESE LEGEND, folks. Those of you whining, “I can move my finger, I must be special” or “This isn’t true because I can move my friggin’ finger” get over yourselves.

It’s a legend. It isn’t fact. It’s an anecdote.

i can barely separate my fourth fingers, also if I lay down and put my arms straight up in the air(actually, more away from each other), they come together without me forcing them.

Hmm.

I have no difficulty whatsoever separating my fourth fingers.
I am also divorced, so both my fingers and my marriage were, apparently, not incapable of separation.
To be honest, I find this kind of “feel good” trite nonsense a bit insulting. I’m all for being positive and seeking beauty, but these kind of platitudes that mean nothing and signify only inexperience and an inability to look truth in the face do nothing more foster some untrue notion about life laws that do not, in fact, exist.

Coincidentally, I read earlier this week that there is an old belief that a nerve connects directly from the ring finger to the heart. I think the reference is associated with acupuncture, again a Chinese connection.
